Privacy Policy

StudyKit (operated at praxiqiq.app) is a free academic utility network. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Tool inputs and outputs. When you use a tool (e.g. flashcard generator, quiz generator), we send your input to Google’s Gemini API and store the structured output along with a one-way SHA-256 hash of the input. We retain outputs to power your dashboard, deduplicate repeated requests, and improve reliability. We do not store the raw text of your input.
- Account data.If you sign in, we store your email address and a Supabase authentication session cookie. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth.
- Network metadata. We log a salted HMAC-SHA256 hash of your IP address (never the raw IP) for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. We also log standard request metadata (timestamp, model used, latency, token count).
- Feedback and contact messages. If you submit feedback or a contact message, we store the message, your email (if provided), and a hashed IP.
What we do not collect
We do not sell your data. We do not store the raw text of your tool inputs. We do not attempt to re-identify you across sessions beyond the authentication cookie you control.
Third-party processors
- Google Gemini API — processes tool inputs to produce structured outputs.
- Supabase — authentication and Postgres database hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting and edge caching.
- Upstash Redis — rate-limit counters keyed by hashed IP.
- Google AdSense. We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visit to this site and prior sites. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads or aboutads.info.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and Google AdSense advertising cookies. We do not use first-party tracking or analytics cookies.
Data retention
Generation records and feedback are retained while StudyKit operates. You may request deletion of your account data and associated generations at any time by contacting us.
